Origin Tales is an award-winning, independent animation studio founded in 2018. Located in Novi Sad, Serbia, a young team dedicated to development and production of original IP’s for animation, live-action and VR.
Igor Zarol is a senior financial manager with over 9 years of experience in multiple areas of corporate practice ranging from global strategic financial planning and analysis, P&L management, fundraising, budgeting and forecasting, to project management, business development and talent selection. Long-time Chief Financial Officer at Eipix Entertainment, a successful video gaming company. Igor recently left Eipix to start his own business endeavors with Origin Tales. Held many public speeches and took part in numerous public presentations, panels and debates on startup culture, IT community, marketing management and innovative business approaches.
Ivan Bereš is an animator and producer working in the field of creative industries for more than 10 years . Worked on more than 50 video games and developed several original IP’s for animated series with Origin Tales. Developed the animated tv series Rabbit from a Tin Hat which won the award for best pitch in tv series competition at 2018 Visegrad Animation Forum in Trebon in Czech Republic. Participated in Animation Sans Frontières 2017-18 a european animation development lab. Participated in many industries pitching events such as Cartoon Forum, Venice Production Bridge, FMX and Animation Production Day. Serving as a producer on VR documentary Spomenik.
Ivan Knežević is an editor, writer and director. Edited the features Autumn in my Street, screened in the main competition of the 2009 Sarajevo Film Festival, and Withering, screened at the 2013 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Participated in many labs and workshop around europe such as, Berlinale Talent Campus – Script Station, Torino FilmLab’s AdaptLab, Dffb’s SerialEyes and Biennale College Cinema VR. Currently developing the TV series The Island with HBO Europe, and the VR documentary Spomenik.
